This was a replacement for an old thermostat in our office from 1990 that became a pain to work with. The new product was delivered very quickly. We are very happy with this one.

We purchased the Electro Boiler as a backup heat source for our son's home in rural New Jersey. Due to the rocky soil there is no natural gas. He uses a pellet stove as the first heat source. We were replacing an older oil boiler, clearly from the long ago days of cheap oil. Boiler Installed Under Cabinet Apr 15, 2016

I had an 18'x20' addition to heat with Hydrondic floor heat, I looked at Micro Boilers for less money but the EMB-S-5, had many built in features which made it much more economical, and easier to install. It had to fit underneath a cabinet so the size of the unit was able to be installed where I needed it. With the thermostat relays and the pump start relay built in, it was very easy to install on my one zone system. The floor was warm over night, it is quiet, and is working perfectly.

We replaced an Amana unit with the LG that claimed to be the quietest on the market. It is definitely quieter and we have had it installed for two weeks, running every day, however it is not quiet by any means. There is some type of groan towards shut down that lasts for about 10-15 seconds. It also runs more than the Amana did which I'm sure will result in higher electrical bills. I just had my new system installed. It is a great system. It is very quiet and cools are home very well. One thing if you order a a/c system don't what to long because they run out.
