If you have electric baseboard heat and are looking for a premium product this seems to be pretty much the only game in town. It looks about as good as a baseboard heater can do and exudes quality. The thing weighs about ten times a regular heater of similar size so holds heat much better - though ultimately you are buying this for looks not performance. i installed two of these in 2008. had to replace one after 6 years the other after 8 years. the only reason i replaced with Noritz was the supposed ease of replacement with the same heater i.e. all piping was supposed to line up...NOT SO! I had to redo piping which cost me an additional $200 because the piping did not line up with original heater. Also i should have been able to get a longer life with original heaters.

The unit tends to leak through pinholes which are due to impurity of copper tube material from cheap production country. The oil, a part of Freon makes most plastics parts brittle and replace indoor unit. This situation is a subject of recall, however, the company avoids ruining the company name offering free replacement parts for long period. I have repair three pin holes in one indoor unit. Installed this fan and it works GREAT! Cools house quickly and quietly! You can feel the air moving in the house as it cool down. Recommend this fan to all clients with heat issues in summer. I installed 8 hour timer and hi/low switch. That is the way to go!

Love the Schluter products. I have used the Kerdi llner for years and attended a technical training in VA. Have learned that the 32"x60" Shower Kit is available from my local Home Depot for $499 + tax. Free shipping is nice but I'm at the home improvement stores every day. Probably won't buy on-line again unless the pricing is lowered. Thanks for the opportunity to review
