Great for high humidity pet room ventilation. I bought this unit to improve the air quality in my pet room that contains a 600 gallon aquarium and 200 more gallons in the sump bringing the total volume up to 800 gallons. Needless to say humidity was a problem in this 14' x 14' room. My room has a split ducted a/c unit set to 84 degrees and did have a dehumidifier. Unit installed April 2009. Had to put a new ignitor & sensor in 01/10/2016. Parts alone were $500.00. I installed them. Now for some reason I am getting air in the system. Had to bleed base board radiators twice in two days. I never opened the system up, other than to put ignitor in. One day I had 6a on the computer and the next morning I had a 6L showing. Should have stayed with a boiler that people know how to service. Do not see any savings from old Hobart boiler that I had for forty... more

This was my first mini-split installation, and it was time consuming but easy. The system is very quiet while running, easily have a conversation standing next to it and I can't hear it standing around the corner of the building, 10' away. The installation is on a semi-secluded lake cottage with only nature for ambient noise, it is that quiet.
