Purchased this HRV to replace our 22-year old Mayaire unit. Didn't realize until the HRV arrived that it must hang for installation. My original unit sat on a table I built for it. So it took quite a while to find the right spot to have good access for straps, and not interfere with existing duct lines for old unit. This unit is amazingly quiet, inside and outdoor unit. We only had a chance to use it in cooling mode so far, have to wait for the winter to roll in.
