2-star Just Not Happy Jun 06, 2016

I would like to be able to give a good report, but the truth is during just the second winter I used this product it stopped working. I tried to relight it but as soon as I let of the pilot button the pilot goes out. I removed the thermocouple which senses the pilot flame and locks the gas valve on so the thermostat can control the burner. I was told if you sand it off it can restore its function. 5-star Quiet, Unbelievably Quiet Nov 23, 2016

Installed it in the bonus room above our garage. About 300 sq/ft. Can cool room to 65' to satisfy my most demanding guest from the north. But the most amazing thing is how quiet outside unit is. I only know it's running since I can see the fan spinning and the condensation tube dripping. As I mounted the outside unit on the... more

5-star Best Inventment Ever! Aug 05, 2016

Our main house is cooled by a 2.5 ton conventional a/c. I replaced that unit in June with a new American Standard (Trane) a/c. On the back of the house is a Florida room 44' x 12' that was not air conditioned. Three sides of the room are sliding glass doors, circa 1989, overlooking a lake and facing east. The summer sun and Florida temperatures made the Florida room un-usable during the daylight hours. A load evaluation recommended a 3 ton unit to cool the Florida room. After much... more
