The oil, a part of Freon makes most plastics parts brittle and replace indoor unit. This situation is a subject of recall, however, the company avoids ruining the company name offering free replacement parts for long period. I have repair three pin holes in one indoor unit. After finally receiving both thr AC unit and evaporator coil in which the AC unit was lost and shipped separately, the installation went well and everything fit in place and we are enjoying cool air. So besides shipping, I have been please with my unit thus far.
