I was hesitant to put in a whole house fan, because the one in my previous house was effective but really loud. Quiet Cool lives up to its name. It is so quiet, I don't have to turn up the volume on the TV. It works great too, pulling in the cool night air. I have a 1400 sq ft ranch house in Colorado and it cools off quickly. One fan, and A coil is not freezing up has run from 6 am till now -- 7:30pm at 93 degrees outside temp---- other two should be coming to their new home soon
