OK, first thing to do is to consider the space, (including walls and doors) you are trying to condition. Envision the air flow between where the air will eventually come in and where it will be exhausted once you install the ductwork. I was hesitant to put in a whole house fan, because the one in my previous house was effective but really loud. Quiet Cool lives up to its name. It is so quiet, I don't have to turn up the volume on the TV. It works great too, pulling in the cool night air. I have a 1400 sq ft ranch house in Colorado and it cools off quickly. I'm so glad I didn't opt for air conditioning, saving a lot of $$.
