I used this inline fan to hook up to my vent hood in my kitchen. Even though this product was assembled in America, the motor was made in Germany and you certainly can't go wrong with German technology. I also brought LD10 silencer to attach directly to the fan and placed the silencer between the vent hood and the fan. I also purchased the FC10 clamp to hold the silencer and fan in place. I received the boiler in a timely fashion. The box was undamaged. I took it inside and removed the cardboard and it all seemed to be there and in good condition. I was surprised to see it had an outdoor reset built into it. It comes with the outdoor sensor. I will not be hooking this up until spring as I do not want to interrupt my heating system during the cold weather. But I do not foresee any issues. My contractor purchased the 151 combi from local warehouse. I just wanted to share experiences for the whole deal of getting this one. I had it installed a few days ago by a local contractor who claimed certified by Bosch. Technicians under supervision by certified plumber were struggling of how they were going to install and had it fired, back and fort with rewiring, and reconnect piping for a few occasions, saying they were difficult to install. Ameristar furnaces ARE the same as Trane and American standard furnaces (per trane tech support), except they don't have a painted finish. Even made in the same Trenton NJ factory. This furnace is about 40% cheaper here, on this site, than the same model in a Trane is from the local distributor.
