Installed a $20,000 under floor heating system. Then the hot water tank leaks, and trying to get warranty service is impossible. I'm buying a new tank for cash, taking out the old tank and then trying to get a replacement under warranty as a spare. Don't install their system.

Each unit is made to order - it took almost 2 months for delivery. Unit is well made and quite quiet. Installation was straight forward although no instructions were included (I obtained them online to be sure wire connections were correct.) So far it is working perfectly.

I received the boiler in a timely fashion. The box was undamaged. I took it inside and removed the cardboard and it all seemed to be there and in good condition. I was surprised to see it had an outdoor reset built into it. It comes with the outdoor sensor. I will not be hooking this up until spring as I do not want to interrupt my heating system during the cold weather. But I do not foresee any issues. After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. Modine will not honor the warranty unless you use a professional installer. If you are a do it yourselfer, don't buy this unit. The propeller motor is cheap and creates a lot of vibration noise. I purchased the purefire 80, 6 years ago from eComfort, and it was the best purchase I have made. Super people to deal with and it has been an outstanding boiler with no problems. I'd buy from them again.
