I would like to be able to give a good report, but the truth is during just the second winter I used this product it stopped working. I tried to relight it but as soon as I let of the pilot button the pilot goes out. I removed the thermocouple which senses the pilot flame and locks the gas valve on so the thermostat can control the burner. I was told if you sand it off it can restore its function. Used this unit with a 12, 18, 9, 9 set up with a 4-way distribution box, it has worked very well with very little noise. There is a very high pitched sound you can hear if you are near it, but it is not very noticeable.

Powerful But Rattles Jul 27, 2016

We purchased this to replace our old existing heaters as well as get more powerful heaters to heat up our space. These units are clean looking and powerful heaters, but they rattle and are noisy. You can see the metal bracket inside is loose and it was designed as a separator between the heat exchange, but it is not mounted security, so the air causes it to rattle.
