We finished our attic and we're advised by an hvac company to purchase this unit and have it installed. I have to admit...I am pleasantly surprised at how quiet and efficient this unit is. Easy to install and use also. I would highly recommend this to anyone!!

If you have electric baseboard heat and are looking for a premium product this seems to be pretty much the only game in town. It looks about as good as a baseboard heater can do and exudes quality. The thing weighs about ten times a regular heater of similar size so holds heat much better - though ultimately you are buying this for looks not performance. After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. Modine will not honor the warranty unless you use a professional installer. If you are a do it yourselfer, don't buy this unit. The propeller motor is cheap and creates a lot of vibration noise. I just had a 2-ton goodman air conditioner installed. I had a carrier that lasted me for 18 years with only two very minor repairs. I don't like the goodman because in order to keep my house comfortably cool I have to put the thermostat on 72. When I put it on 78 like I did with the carrier, my house's temperature is warm. I do not recommend the Goodman air conditioners. I feel VERY dissatisfied.

Unfortunately, it took too long to receive my furnace. I guess I didn't understand the delivery/shipment process. However, the furnace is working well and I am thankful for that.
