Easy to setup and the optional install kit had everything needed for the job. Unit came missing a panel cover and still am waiting to see if this gets resolved.

Replaced an 80k BTU unit with this one. Install was a breeze even considering the old unit was a floor mount and this one hangs on the wall. My HVAC guy showed up just as I was completing the wiring and it took him about 30 minutes to program it and run through a cycle. It's fast! I took a half-hour long shower, and by the time I'd dried, dressed and went to the utility room it was on standby........

I bought 2 of these systems for my cabin in NC. Had previously purchased a similar Mitsubishi split for my FL home. They are super quiet and their inverter technology and continuously variable speeds make them very efficient. They have several advanced features, such as scanning and detecting when and where someone is in the room and adjusting for maximum comfort and/or efficiency. Indoor Unit: Very easy installation. This little 9k unit cools a 10 by 10 room and can easily lower the temp down into the low sixties. It is so quiet and you can hear yourself breathe while it's on. The inside fins are remote and so is the louver. It remembers where you set it so when you turn off and turn it back on it goes back to the setting you left it at. I installed the indoor and outdoor units myself including all the electrical work. Initially I installed GFCI circuit breaker per Daikin's installation manual, but it tripped every time the compressor cycled on. I replaced it with regular 20A, 220V, single-phase circuit breaker and it's worked fine ever since. I had a certified HVAC tech install the line sets and test for leaks.
