Great Small Unit For Detached Structure Jul 28, 2016

This was just installed recently in mild temperatures so I can't comment on how well it can heat and cool my small structure but based on the air temp it should work pretty well. I bought this because it is a newer unit with a slightly higher SEER than the KE series. The other nice thing about Daikin is the temp setting on heat can go down to 50, which is good to keep a room that's not being used from freezing (other units only go as low as 65). Replaced the old unit with the new Goodman GSX13 - 2.5 ton. Would you believe it's so quiet you can hardly hear it run? The old one was noisy. This is one of the best units I have used. I will buy Goodman from hear on. Thank you goodman.

My neighbor just spent $3500.00 having a new furnace put on, which for me was out of the question...I bought your furnace (same size) for $575.00 delivered to my door. I'm 75 years old and had it installed and running in 6 hours complete. And that's for changing electric, gas lines, upper plenum and lower base. Way Too Slow...using Too Much Water Nov 17, 2016

I installed the heater per the installation instructions...upgrading my natural gas line to 3/4" from the meter to the heater. I am satisfied with how quiet the unit is, but it is taking way too long to get any hot water. We have metered water and it is expensive. Any savings I may have gained from doing away with the pilot lite and storage tank will be more than lost letting the water run for 2 to 3 times longer than with a tanked water heater.
